COVID-19: REQUIRED CLOSURE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Following instruction from Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Public Health, school plans on increasing its numbers will be delayed until June 15th at the earliest.

Please click for the letters from Cllr Abtisam Mohammed and Greg Fell - Director of Public Health for Sheffield City Council

School can provide childcare provision to the following:

- pupils of key workers

- pupils classed as vulnerable

Please contact parents@grenoside.sheffield.sch.uk if you need this childcare provision.

The staff have volunteered to look after children of key workers to help with the fight against COVID-19 but we can only do so if it is clear that parents have followed government guidelines regarding lockdown.  This is to ensure the health and safety of the children that attend, the staff and their families.

Many of you will now be sending your children to school having had a break from school. It is important that the children are in good health before they return to school so that other children and staff are kept safe. Your child will also be expected to follow the social distancing and hand washing regime at school. So far this has been very successful but we wanted you to know so that your child is prepared.

Please DO NOT send your child to school if they are poorly or showing symptoms of COVID-19.

Thank you to all who have shared messages about what you and your child have been up to; the teachers have enjoyed seeing what you have been doing.  Please note that you do not need to print anything off.

Thank you for your support.  Be safe and be well.
